Project Manager


Our highly skilled and qualified Project Managers are responsible for pre job planning, execution, and closing for overall success of the project. They are also responsible for all Manwatch and Equipment on-site. They are a liason between our clients and SafeWatch and will be on-site for the first three days and every 3rd day after that or as required by the client.

Field Safety


Our field safety staff come with over 5 years of field experience as well as a recognized safety designation such as NCSO and may possess additional education such as an OHS Certificate/Diploma or CHSC (Certified Health and Safety Consultant). They are the on-site contact for our client’s representatives. They interact with clients, sub-contractors and regulatory bodies as required by the client. They supervise and mentor all sub-group safety advisors and administrators. They mentor all workers on OH&S acts, codes, and regulations. They coordinate the delivery of HSE services including but not limited to site safety meetings, orientations, incident investigations, training, hazard assessments, inspections, observations, report writing, quality control, plan development, and implementation.

Safety Administrator


Our Safety Administrators come with the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) Health and Safety Administrator (HSA) certification, Computer experience and have a firm understanding of Microsoft Office products. Under direct supervision they are responsible to assist HSE Advisors and Project Managers as required.

Services include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with contract compliance including LEM reporting and cost codes.
  • Assisting with scheduling Advisors.
  • Conduct roaming inspections to meet measurements and statistic data milestones.
  • Data entry for measurements.

Air Team Lead/Coordinator


As the primary on-site contact for the Client, the Air Team Lead is responsible for work coordination and scheduling as well as liaising with the owner representatives. Air Team Leads are responsible for the prevention of losses to workers, property and equipment during the scheduled turnaround or facility construction. Working directly with the Area Operators, this individual will assist in identifying unacceptable risks and implementing the required controls for eliminating or reducing work hazards to an acceptable level. The Coordinator is accountable for the completion of training and overall performance of the team, while team members share responsibility of ensuring work activities meet project standards, policy and approved procedures. Our Air Team Leads have experience in scheduling, project management, and risk management. This person comes with experience in use, care, and maintenance of breathing air equipment.

Services include but are not limited to:

  • Provide primary on-site contact for the work coordination, scheduling of work, and liaising with client representatives.
  • Responsible for loss prevention to workers, property, and equipment during the scheduled turnaround or facility construction.
  • Working directly with the Area Operators, Contractor will assist in identifying unacceptable risk and implementing the required controls for eliminating or reducing work hazards to an acceptable level.
  • Accountability for the completion of training and overall performance of the team, while team members share responsibility of ensuring work activities meet project standards, policy and approved procedures.

Lead Hand


Our Lead Hands have an intimate understanding of the entire safety program including permits (hot, cold, and confined space). They play a key role in preventing losses and have the ability to foresee problems before they arise.

Services include but are not limited to:

  • Helping the Safety Watch ensure the proper equipment is in place before the job starts. Lead Hands will usually have 10 Safety Watches under his supervision.

QA/QC


Our QA/QC personnel have a good understanding and formal training in the equipment that they are responsible for issuing and cleaning. They are trained on how to properly inspect returning equipment so that it can be cleaned and re-issued. All training is in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations for cleaning, care, and maintenance.

Services include but are not limited to:

  • Cleaning and disinfecting masks, equipment and other PPE.

Air Technician


Our Air Technicians have experience with rigging in and out, maintenance, and a vast knowledge of Breathing air systems and all its components. SafeWatch Air Techs have the training required to run these systems as set out by SafeWatch.

Services include but are not limited to:

  • Rig in and rig out breathing air equipment.
  • Inspecting and packaging equipment.
  • Assisting personnel in donning and doffing breathing air equipment.

Safety Watch/Fire Watch


Our Safety Watch/Fire Watch Personnel have the required training as put forth by the client. They are required to be signed off as “Competent” by both Lead Hand and the Coordinator before permitted to work on their own with minimal supervision.

Services include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining control of all required paperwork, maintain an entry/atmosphere log for all Confined Space Entries.
  • Making sure that all the Safety equipment required for the job is in good working order, and all controls are in place.
