Job Purpose: To support all departments and areas of operation

Administrative/clerical responsibilities include:

    • answer phones and perform receptionist duties
    • assit with payroll - timesheet review & data entry
    • organize and prepare supporting documentation for invoicing
    • book/arrange camp accommodation and air travel for field staff
    • assemble final reports and meeting documentation
    • archive information on network drives
    • prepare meeting minutes and notes - on request
    • update social media sites - on request

Certification: Administrative Diploma

Experience: Entry position

Computer Skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), e-mail. Must have very good working knowledge of all applications.

Language: English - written and oral (excellent)

B.  Field Safety Inspector - Contract

Job Title:   Field Safety Advisor- INDUSTRIAL TURNAROUND- CONTRACT

Type:        Field Staffing / Contract

Locations: Various

Date: On-going

 

Job Purpose:Provide field safety services to a variety of clients in the construction, oil, gas/refinery, pipeline and manufacturing industries.

 

HSE responsibilities include:

    • Monitor worker compliance with the client’s HSE program.
    • Conduct orientations and other training as required.
    • Liaise, as required by the client, with other organizations, regulatory bodies, relevant authorities, and assistance and cooperation concerning audits and remedial actions.
    • Conduct inspections and audits to identify and manage hazards and monitor compliance with the client’s Safe Work Practices and health and safety regulations.
    • Conduct investigations as required.
    • Make recommendations to the client and identify potential areas for improvement.
    • Play a key role in readiness of safety equipment, auditing and training of personnel in the use of safety equipment and systems.
    • Submit timesheets and invoices in compliance with SafeTech standards and timeframes.

Certification: Minimum CSO or OHS Certificate.

Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in safety related position(s) preferred. Experience in the oil and gas, refinery, pipeline, construction, industrial, and asset.

Computer Skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), e-mail. Must have very good working knowledge of all applications.

Language: English- written and oral (excellent)

Key Competencies: Self starter with exceptional organizational skills, personable skills, and time management.

C.  Environmental Specialist - Contract

Job Purpose:

Coordinate all oil and gas upgrading operations compliance activities related to preservation and enhancement of quality of of the natural environment, including noise, water, air, sensitive resources and unanticipated discoveries. The position will work with engineers, technical specialists, regulatory agencies, field personnel and other departments to facilitate implementation of recordkeeping activities and ensure and ongoing compliance and associated regulations for upgrading activities.

Qualified candidate must have strong computer processing skills in Microsoft Office and have a bachelors degree in Environmental Science or related field.

Job Title:  Certified Industrial Hygienist

Job Purpose:

To identify and assess health risks by conducting various industrial hygiene monitoring projects for each plant unit area.

Industrial Hygienist responsibilities include:

  • prepare, report, and communicate exposure assessments and associated health risks
  • identify exposure hazards and recommend control measures
  • maintain and calibrate industrial hygiene monitoring equipment
  • organize and lead risk communication sessions
  • understand industrial hygiene monitoring methods and assessment methodologies (chemical, noise, heat stress, lighting, ventilation, ergonomics)
  • write technical monitoring reports and highlight key learnings to management

 

Job Knowledge / Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

Qualified candidate must have strong computer processing skills in Microsoft Office and have a bachelors degree in Industrial Hygiene or related science.
